Mexico claims spot in World Cup last-32 to set up last day scramble for glory

Co-hosts Mexico beat South Korea 1-0 on Thursday night to claim Group A at the 2026 World Cup and set up a final round of games in which South Africa, South Korea and Czech Republic could join them in the knockout stages.
