Nguyen Tri Phuong, a materials science professor at Canada's Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres (UQTR), has received US$1.05 million to develop next-generation rubber compounds designed to extend the lifespan of high-voltage transmission line components across Quebec Province.
