(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 29 - A 66-year-old construction company owner, Antonio D'Errico, died on Wednesday while saving his 26-year-old son during an accident at a worksite in Mesagne, near the southern Italian city of Brindisi, according to initial reports. It seems that D'Errico realized a canopy on the site was about to collapse and rushed over to warn the son, effectively saving him, before being crushed.
