It’s Wednesday morning and I’m halfway along the walk to my daughter’s creche when the first video lands in the WhatsApp group. At lunchtime, another couple appear. Before I leave the office at 5pm, I find a quiet spot to record and send my own. I’ll watch all of the videos later on when the final member of the group – the one with the oldest kids and therefore latest bedtime to shepherd – sends hers.
