Finnish police arrested 48 people after a mass fight involving suspected supporters of HJK and FC Lahti in central Lahti on Saturday, hours before the clubs met in a Veikkausliiga match. Häme Police said the first emergency call was received at 12:11 local time after fighting broke out in Paasikivenaukio, close to the city centre. Officers arrived within minutes and detained dozens of people as they brought the situation under control.
