Chisinau City Hall has announced a tender for the restoration of the cobblestone section of 31 August Street, with a contract value exceeding 26.2 million lei and an estimated work duration of no more than six months.

A section of 31 August 1989 Street in central Chisinau, Moldova, will be transformed into a pedestrian alley with bike paths. Architects plan to preserve the historic cobblestones and delineate zones for pedestrians and alternative transport, with work expected to be completed by year-end.
