Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has extended congratulations to 14-year-old Oreofe, a student from Ado Ekiti, for winning the African Spelling Bee competition against contestants from over 20 countries.

Fourteen-year-old Nigerian student Adeolu Oreofe has won the African Spelling Bee championship. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu congratulated her on this significant achievement.

According to the organisers, this year’s championship is expected to be the biggest yet, with more than 30 African countries expected to present their top six champions for the coveted title of the African Spelling Bee Champion.
