US to Require $15,000 Bond for Travelers from Five Nations, Including World Cup Fans
A new Trump administration policy, effective April 2, will require travelers, including athletes and officials, from Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tunisia, and Cape Verde to post a $15,000 bond to enter the United States. This requirement also extends to citizens from five participating countries in the upcoming World Cup who wish to obtain a tourist visa under the 'Visa Bond Pilot Program'.
