Former Punjab minister Bikram Majithia has been granted anticipatory bail in a police station ruckus case.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has publicly criticized Bikram Majithia, referring to him as a 'paper tiger' and stating that authorities are actively searching for him in connection with an FIR.

Police raided the home of Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia in connection with a case stemming from an incident where he allegedly stormed a police station. The Amritsar Rural SSP was also transferred the day after the incident.
