The Commission on Elections (Comelec) stated that legal complications, including a similar case, are delaying the release of findings in the election campaign contributions case of Senator Rodante Marcoleta.

A disbarment complaint was filed before the Supreme Court against Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chair George Erwin Garcia and five other commissioners.
