The state transport body has opened a public consultation for the new preferred route of the €2 billion Luas Cork line, which features 27 stops and would notably split the Cork University Hospital campus.

HSE South West has appealed to the public to stay away from the hospital if they have symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting.
