An oil painting by celebrated Indian artist Raja Ravi Varma, titled 'Yashoda and Krishna,' has sold for a record-breaking ₹167.2 crore (approximately $20 million USD) at auction to industrialist Cyrus S Poonawalla, setting a new benchmark for modern Indian art.
