The Norwegian Data Protection Authority has announced it is opening a supervision case against telecommunications company Telia.

A security vulnerability in Telia's system allowed the tracking of its customers' mobile phones for several years, with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority stating that it could affect a large number of people, though few are reportedly impacted.

Three organizations have lodged a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, arguing that CapCut's user terms are so opaque that even adults struggle to understand them.
