A 49-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Denis Donaldson, a former senior Sinn Féin official and MI5 informant who was shot dead 20 years ago, and has been remanded in custody.
Three individuals, including two men and a teenager, have been arrested and charged in connection with an arson attack that destroyed four Hatzalah ambulances belonging to a UK Jewish charity in March, and have now been ordered to remain in UK custody. The London police stated the incident has not been declared a terrorist act.
A man has been brought before the Special Criminal Court charged with the murder of republican double agent Denis Donaldson in Co Donegal, following his extradition from Scotland. The 49-year-old man appeared in court charged with six offences, including the murder of Donaldson in 2006.
