The IDF has issued a stern warning to the Lebanese government, stating that if Hezbollah is not disarmed, the Israeli military will take action to prevent the group's rearmament and protect civilians on its northern border.

Israeli army spokesman Effie Defrin said that 100,000 reservists have been mobilized, after this country, together with the US, launched an attack on Iran.

IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin clarified that Israel's objective is to debilitate Iran's system and capabilities, not to achieve regime change, while claiming over 2,000 targets attacked and thousands of commanders and soldiers eliminated.

Brigadier General Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), told NDTV that Hezbollah's decision to resume fire roughly 10 days ago set off the current escalation, and that Israel had no intention of stopping.
