Former FpU leader Simen Velle has been proposed as a permanent member of the Norwegian Progress Party's (Fremskrittspartiet) central board, according to the election committee's recommendation.

The Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) has emphasized its consistent position as the clearest party in Norway advocating for lower taxes for several decades.

Lars Barstad Løvold from Ålesund has been elected as the new leader of Fremskrittspartiets Ungdom (FpU), the youth wing of Norway's Progress Party. He takes over from Simen Velle, having previously served as the organization's deputy leader.
