A Dáil committee was informed of more than a dozen cases where money went missing from Garda stations, with one investigation leading to criminal proceedings against a garda for €1,100.

Two men, both in their 50s, have been arrested and are currently detained at garda stations in Dublin following the seizure of €1.5 million worth of cannabis in South Dublin.
