Pope Leo XIV has appointed Rev. Fr. Gerardo Fortich Saco Jr. as the eighth bishop of the Diocese of Tagbilaran, as announced by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). The Vatican confirmed the appointment.
