Former Dutch politician Rita Verdonk has joined or will coach a new political party founded by Gidi Markuszower, named "De Nederlandse Alliantie" (The Dutch Alliance). This marks her return to the political arena with a new formation.

Seven resigned PVV Members of Parliament in the Netherlands are planning to establish their own political party to contest next year's Provincial Council elections, as confirmed by faction leader Gidi Markuszower.
