The Icelandic Tourist Board has completed processing claims related to travel agencies Komdu út ehf. and Tango travel ehf., paying 137 million to tourists affected by their issues.

Nearly 500 customers of Icelandic travel agencies Tango Travel and Komdu út are receiving refunds for trips that were never taken. Both companies had sold trips relying on flights with Play, which subsequently went bankrupt, leading to the cancellations.
