The Belgrade City Assembly has approved a decision to provide 20,000 dinars in financial assistance to parents of elementary and high school students.

The City of Belgrade intends to distribute 20,000 dinars again to primary and secondary school students in the capital as financial assistance for the upcoming school year.

The 'Kreni-promeni' movement has submitted 1,813 objections to the Secretariat for Urbanism and Construction Affairs, claiming that proposed amendments to Belgrade's General Regulation Plan transfer decision-making power over public spaces to private investors.

Belgrade City Assembly councilors will consider a proposal on February 27 to convert the city's claims against Politika AD into a permanent stake in the company's capital.
