The Serbian Organized Crime Prosecutor's Office has begun questioning individuals regarding allegations that the Security Information Agency (BIA) interfered in the elections for members of the High Judicial Council (VST) by contacting prosecutors.

The Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (TOK) announced that it has begun questioning witnesses as part of its investigative actions concerning allegations made about a meeting of prosecutors at the BIA (Security Information Agency) regarding voting for the High Judicial Council (VST).

Stevan Ristić, director of weekly Vreme, suggests that the 'Mrdić's Laws' might be withdrawn, having served as the government's backup plan to control the High Judicial Council (VST) in case of unfavorable election results.
