Hon. Ovat Agbor, a suspended member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, has publicly apologized for allegedly assaulting his wife, an incident that led to his indefinite suspension from the Assembly.

The Cross River State Police Command has clarified that Hon. Ovat Agbor was not arrested but was invited to answer questions regarding allegations of domestic violence involving his wife.
