Captain Jan Dobrogowski, who was on a ship where a hantavirus outbreak occurred, has returned to Poland and begun quarantine after a new test result was negative, as confirmed by the Chief Sanitary Inspector Paweł Grzesiowski.

The Director-General of the WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, thanked Jan Dobrogowski for his cooperation and leadership as Dobrogowski departed from the 'Hondius'.
