Young Icelandic filmmaker Katla Sólnes is currently attracting significant attention, having recently garnered numerous awards and accolades. She is now actively working on her first full-length feature film.

Katla Sólness received two awards at the Stockfish Film Festival, where Ari Kristinsson was also honored for his outstanding contributions to Icelandic filmmaking.
