Cyprus has given the green light for the development of the Cronos gas field, marking a historic milestone for the country's energy sector. The project, led by TotalEnergies and Eni, aims to begin exporting Cypriot natural gas to Europe by 2028.
The Cypriot Cabinet has approved the development and production plan for the Kronos gas field, located in Block 6 of Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). President Nikos Christodoulides emphasized the importance of this approval.
