Nigeria's Labour Party has announced its candidates, including Labaran Maku and Simon Eze, for the June 20 by-elections across various constituencies, following the conclusion of its primaries.

Former Minister Labaran Maku and two other presidential aspirants have successfully passed the Labour Party screening in Nigeria, ahead of the May 30 primaries.

Former Nigerian Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), vowing to mobilize support for his new party.
