Russian Major General Sergei Kuvaldin has been served with a notice of suspicion in absentia by Ukrainian law enforcement officers for ordering the launch of a Kh-101 missile on the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialised Hospital in Kyiv in July 2024, according to Ukraine's Security Service and the Office of the Prosecutor General. Two people were killed and 34 were injured in the strike, including nine children.
