Paramount is looking to revive its “G.I. Joe” franchise, with Max Landis and Danny McBride each penning scripts based on the Hasbro toy franchise.

A new G.I. Joe movie is in development at Paramount alongside the one also being penned by Danny McBride and plans for a potential franchise.

At the same time, Danny McBride will also be writing a separate 'G.I. Joe' script, with both projects potentially being combined down the line.
