Eight doctors and nurses in California have been arrested for allegedly defrauding Medicare of $4 million by falsely posing patients as terminally ill.

Journalist Chris Rufo claims that California lost between $180 billion and $280 billion to fraud within Medi-Cal and welfare programs during Governor Gavin Newsom's administration.

Paul Randall, 66, has pleaded guilty to wire fraud in a scheme that defrauded Medi-Cal of over $178 million in taxpayer funds.
