Greece's Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy is significantly intensifying inspections of tourist, coastal, and all categories of ships by 51% ahead of the summer season, with a zero-tolerance policy on safety issues.

Students from the World Maritime University (WMU) in Malmö, Sweden, visited the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping as part of their customary visit to Greece, which also included tours of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy and other maritime bodies.
