Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat services in Uttar Pradesh, dedicating development works worth ₹12,930 crore, including the 82 km Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor.

Prime Minister Modi has dedicated the entire 82 km Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, designed for high-speed, high-frequency connectivity, and India's fastest Metro. This infrastructure project aims to significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to 55 minutes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to flag off the Meerut metro and dedicate the remaining sections of the 82-km Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor on February 22.
