The Latvian Ministry of Culture is proposing the merger of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) and the State Academic Choir "Latvija," according to an annotation of a draft order prepared by the ministry.

A symphony concert titled "Meeting of Romantic Masters" at the National Philharmonic will feature masterpieces by Johannes Brahms and Antonín Dvořák, performed by the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and Lukas Geniušas.
