Opposition leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut has urged the Thai government to clarify the Prime Minister's alleged connections to a businessman known as "Sia Tue," who is implicated in an oil hoarding case potentially involving a transnational criminal network.

The opposition People's Party (PP) in Thailand is reportedly undergoing a significant leadership change, with Deputy Leader Veerayooth Kanchoochat expected to replace current party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut.

Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, leader of Thailand's People's Party, remains confident despite the National Anti-Corruption Commission preparing to submit a case against 44 former MPs to the Supreme Court regarding efforts to amend the lese majeste law.
