A fresh political row has erupted between the Congress and BJP parties concerning alleged bribery in the Rajya Sabha polls, following earlier arrests of two individuals in connection with claims that Odisha Congress MLAs were offered bribes to cross-vote.

The Congress had summoned all its 14 MLAs to Bhubaneswar on Thursday night, and then moved eight of them to a resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
