Olumide Akpata has condemned a recent attack in Edo, describing it as a calculated plot to intimidate the electorate and undermine the democratic process in the state.

Gunmen invaded the ADC secretariat in Benin City during a rally, leading to an attack that Peter Obi and Oyegun reportedly escaped. The incident occurred during the formal defection of former Edo State governorship candidate Olumide Akpata to the ADC.
