Protests over minimum wage implementation have intensified across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in India, with factory workers blocking roads and clashing with police in industrial hubs like Faridabad and Palwal. Workers are demanding the enforcement of revised minimum wages.

Factory workers across several Indian cities, including Noida, Faridabad, and Palwal, have erupted in protests demanding higher minimum wages. These demonstrations were reportedly triggered and encouraged by a recent minimum wage revision in Haryana.

The Indian Centre has not yet provided a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Delhi-Rohtak-Hisar and Delhi-Faridabad-Palwal RRTS corridors.
