A 26-year-old man was sentenced to prison in Cyprus after being found guilty of a fatal hit-and-run accident in November 2023 that resulted in the death of 33-year-old Goga Partsvania from Georgia. The Paphos district court imposed concurrent sentences of 12 months.

A 41-year-old man has been sentenced to two years in prison by the Paphos district court for causing a fatal traffic accident in December 2025 that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old Bulgarian motorcyclist.
