A solicitor is calling for an inquiry after charges against retired garda Peter O’Donnell and gardaí Paul Baynham and Niall Deegan were withdrawn in Limerick Circuit Criminal Court, clearing them.

Lawyers for three Limerick gardaí (police officers) were informed that the State would withdraw the case against them. The retired Garda Peter O’Donnell and Gardaí Paul Baynham and Niall Deegan had all pleaded not guilty.
