Generally clear weather is expected on Easter Sunday in Greece, with temperatures reaching up to 21 degrees Celsius. Some temporary clouds and local rains are forecast for the eastern and northern mainland, Sporades, Evia, and Crete.

Optimistic news for the Mediterranean monk seal, one of the world's most endangered marine mammals, as a record number of births have been recorded this year in the National Marine Park of Alonnisos Northern Sporades.

The Greek meteorological service forecasts increased cloudiness with local rain and isolated thunderstorms for Thessaly, Sporades, eastern Central Greece, Evia, and southern island regions until the afternoon.
