The United Naga Council (UNC) and the Meitei Alliance have demanded swift action following comments by Kuki Zo Council (KZC) chairman Henlienthang Thanglet regarding the killing of six Naga civilians.

The Chief Minister of Manipur announced that the Naga abduction case will be transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) following a meeting with a delegation from the United Naga Council (UNC).
