The proportion of unvaccinated children is increasing in Finland, according to information from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). The highest percentage of completely unvaccinated children is reported in Åland.

Some Swedish parents with far-right views have relocated to Åland to homeschool their children, who are often unvaccinated, circumventing Sweden's general ban on homeschooling.
