Learta Holjaj, chief of staff for Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, has denied claims by the head of the Vetëvendosje parliamentary group that Osmani was offered signatures for a new presidential mandate.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that Vetëvendosje currently has no specific candidate for president, following meetings with Lumir Abdixhiku and Hamza, and that the party aims to avoid early elections.

Kosovo's Vetëvendosje movement has proposed Glauk Konjufca as their candidate for president after failing to find a consensual candidate for the post.

Vetëvendosje and PDK failed to reach an agreement on the election of a new president for Kosovo after a meeting between Albin Kurti and Bedri Hamza.
