Yiannis Kefalogiannis announced the hiring of 350 specialized Civil Protection personnel to be deployed to municipalities and regions across Greece, aiming to establish organized civil protection offices nationwide.

A broad inter-ministerial meeting was held in Greece to prepare for the upcoming fire season. The meeting, convened by the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Yiannis Kefalogiannis, included representatives from relevant ministries.
