Colombian President Petro to Lead Opposition After Term

Colombian President Gustavo Petro, nearing the end of his term, has accepted to lead the opposition once he leaves office. He anticipates a 'united bench' as he is succeeded by right-wing candidate Abelardo de la Espriella in early August.
