Mesta in občine na Hrvaškem bodo po novem lahko trgovinam na svojem območju omejile ali prepovedale prodajo alkoholnih pijač v nočnem času. Predlog sprememb zakona o trgovini predvideva tudi prepoved prodaje energijskih pijač mladoletnikom.
