Palermo Municipality Fined for Uncontrolled Nightlife Noise

The municipality of Palermo has been ordered to pay €58,450, plus legal costs, after being sued in 2020 by property owners for failing to control noise and crowds from uncontrolled nightlife. The court ruled that the city did not adequately contain the effects of the 'movida'.
