India Introduces Double Charges for Missed Payments on Barrier-less Tolls
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has warned motorists about new barrier-less tolling systems in Rajasthan and Telangana. Vehicles passing without stopping are tracked via LiDAR and FASTag, and failure to pay within 72 hours of an e-Notice will result in double charges.
