Mahama and WHO Chief Call for Stronger Pharmaceutical Production in Africa

Former Ghanaian President John Mahama and the WHO chief have urged for stronger pharmaceutical production in Africa to reduce the continent's dependence on external health resources. The WHO warned that Africa could lose decades of progress against diseases if domestic investment doesn't compensate for declining international funding.
