Boats Damaging Underwater Ecosystem in Wörthersee Lake

A new monitoring project from Graz and Carinthia is investigating the environmental impact of boats on the Wörthersee lake. Despite relatively low wind, the wave action and turbulence generated by vessels are causing significant damage to aquatic plants and the overall ecosystem.
